The subway transit is Taiwan's new addition (less than a
few years old) which connects Taipei with its surrounding cities, including Tam Shui
(where Tina's Dad lives).
We found ourselves using the subway quite a bit during our
trip.
Fast and smooth ride, not to mention clean!
This is the son-in-law I'm stuck with?
Eating was a constant activity it seemed. That plus
walking. It was usually walking towards the next place to eat. :)
Ah... shaved ice!
Trying snake soup
Tina's 29th bday cake
Dressing Tina up
Some friends had recommended taking
"wedding pictures" in Taiwan, where they can dress us up in various traditional
Chinese costumes and take great photos.
That's what we wanted to do, but I guess
the place we ended up was just a "glamour shot" studio. Oh, well, next
time! :)
But the pictures came out real nice. Joe never thought he could look so good.
