San Francisco - June 28th
We had some almost record breaking 100 degree weather the past week.  With no air conditioning, it was tough for Brownie.  So on Saturday, we made it a special day for her - we went to San Francisco, where the the summers still feel like winters.  :)

Mommy and Junneck visit - May 27th to June 2nd

Junneck on vacation
As part of prepping for the baby, we wanted to teach Brownie to pee in a grass patch on our balcony.  First step was to create a grassy area.

We gave the idea to Junneck, and he ended up re-doing our entire balcony, including a new underside fence, mini-garden and an 8' bench.  All in a weekend!

After all that, did we get Brownie to pee in the grass path?  Uh... no.  But we can always use it as a garden, I guess.  :)

Anthea with proud parents
The main reason for my mom's visit... to see her sister's daughter graduate from high school as valedictorian (can she be related to Joe??).  Congrats Anthea!
