What was the #1 activity
during Joe and Tina's year of 1998? Yeah, you guessed it
. Wedding
Preparations. It seemed like every day after work, we'd have some sort of wedding
planning to do. From invitations to deciding the icing on our wedding cake, we had a
list of "things to do" as long as there were days on the calendar left.
The major things consisted of:
Going to Knoxville, TN to find a church, reception area, rehearsal
dinner, florist, food caterer and look at hotels for our guests.
Work on the wedding web page (hey, you gotta know your priorities!)
Spend time at Barnes & Noble looking at wedding books and getting
ideas
Figure out the wedding party (bridal party, ushers, musicians, Pastor,
coordinators, MCs, photographers and videographers)
Make the wedding guest list and do the invitations
Choosing the bridal dress and tuxedos
Marriage counseling with Pastor Morris
Preparing the honeymoon
Finding our new place to live
Working out the little details (this is the BIG item!)
Anyway, I hope this list doesn't discourage anyone from getting married.
It's worth it! |
