Brownie Chen's

September Journal

9/7 I went on my first flight all the way to Rochester, NY. Something was fishy in the treat mommy gave me, and it made me dizzy for a while. Daddy said he is taking mommy and me to see all the places he grew up at. Mommy didn't look too thrilled about that, but I'm excited to go to east coast. We stayed at grandpa, Janice, and Debbie's house today. They have a beautiful front yard and back yard. Wow, I like the houses here. Everyone has soft grasses in their big lawns. I found many goodies underneath the sofa. Too bad mommy wouldn't let me keep any of it.

9/8 I found a chocolate in a box and quickly ate it before mommy came to check on me. Then my tummy started to feel funny. I had to puke out everything and that didn't feel too good.

Today is the day for a little puppy (that would be me) to be proud!! I perfected the skill of going up and down the stairs. It was very scary in the beginning and I nearly slipped the whole way down and killed myself, but I came out on top at the end. Check out the video daddy took of me going up and down the stairs (sorry you have to turn your head sideways).

We drove around to daddy's childhood neighborhood, schools, and the hospital where he was born. Mommy was right like always. It was not very interesting at all. The hospital was all run down and dirty. Daddy was disappointed to see that and mommy kept on teasing him about it.   I do like daddy's first house though. It has nice shady fruit trees and a big yard.

After the tour, we went to grandma and grandpa Junneck's place. Goon Goon (who is 90+ years old) still seems very healthy. I tried to join him and his student during their Tai Chi Class, but Goon Goon said kids are not allowed.

Grandpa Junneck gave me a DINOSAUR BONE. It's so big I can't even lift it up. Grandpa Junneck is the best!!

p.s. While everyone went out to have a fancy dinner and left me in the room, I left some big stinky poopoo in grandma's closet. Grandma will probably find out later, but I'll be long gone by then :) Sorry grandma, but I had to go.
