October - December Journal
I am not allowed to bring back anything from the park when I walk with mommy,
but daddy is different. He is a big pushover. Look at what I
brought home. Mommy is going to be MAD!

I
got spayed today.
It
was an awful experience. They shaved me, cut me up and took something out
of me. Even after a whole day of sleeping, I still felt sick. I was so
tired I didn’t even have any energy to eat. Mommy had to bring my food to
me, and I ate my dinner with my eyes closed. Check
out my IV leg Anyway, it’s good to be home and pampered by mommy and
daddy.

I'm
a big girl now. Well, at least big enough to go to a doggie day
care. Mommy and daddy found the best doggie day care in the bay area. I
had to go through some tough exams to get accepted.
Not all dogs get in,
you know. I told mommy that there is nothing to be worried about. If
she could have gotten herself into a Ivy League college, I can get myself into a
private doggie day care too. And see, here is me and my proud mommy. Of
course, what's a private school without a fancy school bus!
My
favorite activity at nighttime (after taking walks in the park and trying to get
myself into troubles) is to hang out on the couch with mommy and watch TV.
The futon is not big enough when daddy tries to join us. Anyway, daddy and
mommy got a new sofa at IKEA during Xmas 2001 for me.
I don't have a picture of it yet, but it's nice and wide and the whole family
can be couch potatoes with plenty of space to spare.

My first Thanksgiving Holiday. Tom, Lydia, John came over for a pumpkin
carving party. The pumpkin pies turned out really bad because Auntie Lydia
and mommy decided that they didn't need to put sugar in it. Not to mention
the dry looking pies.. I don't even want to eat them. I met Mr. Pumpkin
and his kido pumpkin Junior.
